Ecumenism
Ecumenism at Holy Cross Catholic Church and Lutheran Church of the
Cross
The ecumenical (or, interfaith) relationship
between the Lutheran Church of the Cross and Holy Cross Catholic Church
has existed since the two worship spaces were completed. Originally
connected by a long hallway underneath the current bell tower, the
addition of the Cross Way Center provided more space for the two
congregations to come together.
In the past year, the two churches coordinated a Thanksgiving prayer
service, Ash Wednesday services, a Good Friday and Tenebrae Service, and
of course, a joint celebration of the Triumph of the Cross.

"Nevertheless, many elements of sanctification and truth are found outside it's visible confines. Since these are gifts belonging to the church of Christ, they are forces impelling towards Catholic unity."
